PebblePad storyboards
Each item on the organisations roadmap that makes it through to design and development has a 1 pager attached to it on Monday.com. This piece of information is intended to explain the why, the what and the when in a concise and easy to understand format. I was challenged by the CTO to present high-level ideas, concepts, challenges and problems in a visual medium that was really easy to understand and complimented the work of product managers responsible for promoting and managing projects and initiatives on the product roadmap via the '1-pager' documentation.

100% of stakeholders, regardless of position, expertise and knowledge, should be able to look at a 1-pager on the product roadmap and fully understand the problem being addressed and the approach being taken. Storyboards need to be concise, insightful, accessible and easy to understand. They should be persona-based and tell short stories that present issues through a user-centric lens. Each visual should be easy and quick to assemble, utilising a common visual language and template. This should reduce the burden and overheads on the designer responsible for generating the storyboard and ensure consistency in the presentation of each storyboard.

All product roadmap items now features a 1-pager document that contains a storyboard that outlines the problem being solved. Feedback received indicates that all stakeholders are now much more confident in what the roadmap features and how the delivery of planned work will positively impact on users. Product Managers also report a significant reduction in queries regarding roadmap items and how they will benefit users.
